Understanding and compliance of SMS (Social distancing, use of mask and use of Sanitizer or soap) Measures against Covid-19 in state number 2 of Nepal.
The COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal is part of the global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Public health concern is increasing as COVID-19 pandemic has created a state of alarm worldwide. The pandemic has raised fear among all the segments of population. In this post lock down situation, all the mitigating measures against Covid-19 is crucial for the public in their daily life. Government of Nepal has urged public to adapt SMS (Social distancing, mask and sanitizer) measures more prominently after lockdown via audiovisual aid, radio jingle, distribution of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials, etc. to slow down the transmission rate of Covid-19. This research therefore aims to examine the use of SMS measures (Social Distancing, Mask and Sanitizer) against Covid-19 after lock down in Nepal. A quantitative method will be used to acquire the data.
