The month of August was a significant and productive month for the Madhesh Association in America (MAA), marked by a series of important organizational and community-focused events. MAA successfully organized three major conferences that brought together distinguished leaders, community representatives, and members to discuss important issues concerning the Madheshi community and its future. The first conference featured the special presence of Honorable Member of Parliament Amresh Kumar Singh, while the second conference welcomed the President of the Madheshi Commission as a special guest, adding valuable perspectives to the discussions. In addition to these conferences, MAA also successfully conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM), providing an important platform to review the organization’s activities, achievements, progress, and future plans. Overall, August reflected MAA’s continued commitment to strengthening community engagement, leadership, transparency, and collective efforts for the advancement of the Madheshi community.

MAA launched its Membership Drive Ceremony under President Manoj Kr. Singh on December 6, 2025. The campaign will run until February 28, 2026, aiming to connect with and enroll potential members across America, strengthening community engagement and expanding MAA’s presence through active participation and collective support.

Meeting with consulate on the flood relief program
